Blackwelder Cottages

This pocket neighborhood when finished will be made up of 10 homes with a large community space. In an ever growing internet based social environment we believe there is a need and want for people to connect in the physical environment. Through density and coerced but natural interaction through the built environment we feel like we can help create new social connections between people. Destiny is great but there has to be a sweet spot for these interactions to not feel overwhelming. We thought a 10 home community was the right amount. These homes will have little to no outdoor private space. Between the 2 rows of 5 houses there is a community outdoor space. This will be made up of various materials with multiple gathering areas. All outdoor areas will be open to all but laid out to promote interaction between backyard neighbors. There will be one big gathering space at the north end of the development that can hold all residences at once for parties.

Development Highlights:

  • Community first development

  • No outside maintenance (HOA)

  • Outdoor community space

  • 2300+- SF homes

  • Blocks away from Plaza District

  • Premium finishes

Chris Cox

I love trying new things, mostly food. It's hard for me to fathom that people would be so closed minded and unwilling to try exotic foods or experience so I will be their surrogate. I'm a huge gamer, mostly kicking butt on all the consoles but delve into some PC gaming. I also love living in OKC, OK it's a city of passion and it's growing at a rapid rate.
